On Saturday, April 27, 2002, the
North Chickamauga Creek Conservancy (NCCC) held its first annual Greenway
Challenge at Greenway Farm in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
This multifaceted event was used by the Conservancy to both educate and entertain. Activities suitable for a range of physical abilities and interests were planned. Proceeds from the event benefited the work of the North Chickamauga Creek Conservancy. |
The main event was the Greenway
Challenge Adventure Race involving up to 50 three-person teams cycling,
paddling and running along the Greenway trails and North Chickamauga Creek.
The Greenway Challenge was intended to be just that, a challenge to complete the Greenway corridor along North Chickamauga Creek.
