The Greenway Challenge Adventure Race will be a sprint adventure race
consisting of three main legs: cycling, paddling and running, in that order. It
will target beginner to intermediate racers and will have an emphasis on
special tests to be completed by the teams between and/or during each leg. Most
of the special tests will be "mystery events" with details revealed to the
racers at the pre-race meeting the morning of the event. Race staff will
provide all equipment that may be required for the special tests.
The racers must supply bicycles and helmets; however, the race staff will
furnish boats, paddles, and PFDs on a first-come, first-served basis depending
upon equipment availability. To encourage co-ed participation, same sex teams
will not be eligible for prizes.
